Oxford Performing Arts Center and Oxford Arts Council Launch New 10x10 Series

Submissions Open May 1 for 2025–2026 Season at oxfordpac.org/10x10

Oxford, AL – The Oxford Performing Arts Center, in proud partnership with the Oxford Arts Council, is excited to announce the launch of the new 10x10 Series (Ten by Ten)—an initiative to present ten outstanding performances each season, with all tickets priced at just $10. The series will begin accepting artist submissions for the inaugural 2025–2026 season beginning May 1 at oxfordpac.org/10x10.  The application window closes on June 6 for the upcoming season.  

The 10x10 Series will feature local and regional talent, offering artists from our community, Alabama, and the Southeast a chance to perform in an intimate setting and connect with new audiences. Performances will take place in The Studio at OPAC, a 200-seat venue designed for an up-close and immersive experience.

Artist Submissions Open May 1

Artists in music, theatre, storytelling, and other live performance disciplines are invited to apply online beginning May 1. The application process includes a brief performance proposal, a video submission, and an outline of any technical requirements.

Submissions will be evaluated by a joint review panel of OPAC staff, Oxford Arts Council members, and community leaders. The panel will consider artistic quality, audience engagement, and feasibility. Performances must be family-friendly.

Selected artists will receive a stipend ranging from $500 to $1,500, depending on the scope of the performance. Ten shows will be presented throughout the season, with admission to each capped at just $10, making the series one of the most affordable ways to experience live performance in the region.

The full 2025–2026 lineup will be announced this summer.
