Community Arts Events

The Oxford Performing Arts Center is proud to serve as a gathering place for the community through events that celebrate creativity, education, and local talent. Throughout the year, OPAC partners with local organizations and schools to present programs that bring our stage to life in meaningful ways.

Oxford Community Chorus
Our resident community chorus presents free concerts each spring and fall, featuring more than 80 singers from across the region. These performances are open to all and offer a wonderful opportunity to enjoy live choral music in a welcoming setting.

Free Community Movies
OPAC regularly presents free movie screenings for families and guests of all ages. From classic favorites to holiday features, these events make the arts accessible and fun for everyone.

Oxford City Schools Events
Each season, OPAC proudly hosts performances by students from Oxford City Schools — including band concerts, theatre productions, and special assemblies. These events give young performers the chance to experience a professional stage while sharing their talents with family and friends.

Oxford Arts Council
In partnership with the Oxford Arts Council, OPAC supports local visual and performing arts initiatives that strengthen our creative community. The Council’s events, exhibits, and outreach projects highlight the many ways art enhances life in Oxford.

Together, these programs reflect OPAC’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and access to the arts for all.
