2025 Rubato International Piano Competition — A Remarkable Week of Music

The 2025 Rubato International Piano Competition brought extraordinary young talent from around the world to the Oxford Performing Arts Center from August 12–16, 2025. As the largest international piano competition of its kind in the American Southeast, Rubato once again showcased the next generation of pianists in both classical and jazz performance.

Since its debut in 2022, Rubato has continued to grow in scope and reputation — offering gifted artists, ages 10–27, a platform to perform, learn, and share their artistry on an international stage. This year’s event featured unforgettable performances, inspiring master classes, and a community of musicians and music lovers who made Oxford the center of the piano world for one exciting week.
