10x10 Series Application window opens January 1, 2026

Oxford Performing Arts Center to Open Applications for Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 10x10 Series on January 1

Oxford, Alabama — The Oxford Performing Arts Center (OPAC) announces that applications and auditions for the Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 season of the 10x10 Series will open on January 1, 2026.
 

The 10x10 Series is OPAC’s popular new performance initiative designed to spotlight outstanding local and regional artists while offering audiences high-quality live performances for just $10 per ticket. Each season features ten performances presented in The Studio at OPAC, an intimate venue ideal for music, theatre, dance, storytelling, spoken word, and other live performance formats.

Artists interested in being considered for the Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 season may submit applications and audition materials beginning January 1, 2026. The application deadline is February 28, 2026.

“We created the 10x10 Series to lower barriers for both artists and audiences,” said John Longshore, Executive Director of the Oxford Performing Arts Center. “This series has become an exciting platform for performers from across the region, and we look forward to discovering the next group of artists who will bring fresh energy to our stage.”
 

Eligibility & Submission Overview

The 10x10 Series is open to artists working in a wide range of live performance disciplines. Submissions will be evaluated based on artistic quality, originality, audience appeal, and technical feasibility within The Studio space.

Detailed submission requirements, application instructions, and technical guidelines will be available when the application portal opens on January 1.
 

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel comprised of OPAC staff and community arts representatives. Selected artists will receive a performance stipend and full production support appropriate to the series.
