The nine-member vocal powerhouse will deliver the ultimate soundtrack of summer, performing iconic hits from the past six decades, including Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance,” all recreated with nothing but nine extraordinary voices. From sun-soaked anthems to feel-good favorites, the “Beach Bash” promises an evening packed with harmony, humor, and high-energy fun.
Straight No Chaser is no stranger to OPAC audiences. After delighting Oxford crowds with their holiday performances in 2021 and again in 2024, the group returns as a clear fan favorite, this time trading sleigh bells for beach balls with an all-new summer repertoire designed to have the entire theater on its feet.
The “Summer Beach Bash” tour launches June 16, 2026, at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank before making its way across the country and culminating in Oxford. The OPAC performance marks the final stop of the tour, making it a must-see event for fans across the region.
The announcement follows the group’s 2025 fall tour, “Holiday Road,” a 63-show marathon in just three months. Their latest holiday album, Holiday Road, featured special guests Mickey Guyton, John Splithoff, and Hunter Hayes. The track “Christmas Is Different” gained national attention with placements on playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Vevo. Offstage, the group’s playful take on major NFL network theme songs, fueled by their shared love of football, is now nearing 10 million views across social media.
Formed at Indiana University Bloomington, Straight No Chaser has become a defining force in modern a cappella, earning two RIAA Gold Certified albums, amassing more than one billion streams, selling three million albums worldwide, and generating more than 100 million YouTube views. With more than 1.75 million tickets sold to date, their live performances continue to captivate audiences with the power and precision of nine unaccompanied voices blending into something extraordinary.
Oxford audiences won’t want to miss the summer’s hottest harmony event as Straight No Chaser brings the beach, and the bash, to OPAC.
