Christmas with Frisson

Event Details

Frisson is comprised of many of today’s rising stars in the classical world and the group performed over 25 concerts last season across the U.S., in New York City, Los Angeles, and at the Bermuda Festival.  They are often called the world’s tiniest orchestra! Many of the musicians are recent graduates of the Juilliard School and the Yale School of Music.  For their performance in Oxford, they will perform a wide variety of holiday music including the Adagio from Winter from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4, some jazzy Christmas tunes for winds, and their own version of the Nutcracker Suite for 11 musicians as well as some exciting encores!
