Alabama singer-songwriter Callie Knight has been performing since childhood, developing her craft through church, local festivals, show choirs, and vocal competitions before joining the Gulf Coast Entertainment organization in Florida. She went on to spend six years as a house singer at Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Panama City Beach, where she connected with musicians and artists from across the country, including members of Toby Keith’s band who later performed on and produced recordings of her original songs. Her musical journey eventually led her to Nashville, where she honed her songwriting and performance skills through writer’s rounds, honky-tonks, and other venues. Now splitting her time between Alabama and Florida, Knight delivers a raw, authentic blend of contemporary and traditional country, Southern rock, and pop, with plenty of Southern twang. She continues to perform throughout the Southeast and write and record new original music.
