The Atlanta Pops Orchestra along with a big band leader, trumpet player, and long-time friend of the Pops, Joe Gransden, will swing you into the season with all the holiday classics. The Atlanta Pops is comin’ to town as you’ve never heard before. A big holiday Christmas time with Joe Gransden and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra! Having performed by invite at The Blue Note and Feinstein’s 54 Below, the Joe Gransden Big Band was recently invited by Wynton Marsalis to perform at the famed Dizzy’s Jazz Club in Lincoln Center in July. Branford Marsalis has sat in with Joe’s band in Atlanta and Joe has performed with Kenny G who produced Joe’s CD, Close to My Heart. In addition, Joe Gransden has enjoyed accolades all across the country for his outstanding trumpet playing, as a big band leader, and as a superb entertainer. “Joe has an innate ability to connect with an audience.
