From the Streets of Buenos Aires to the Broadway Stage

Experience the raw passion and sensuous elegance of Argentina's most captivating export.

Born in the gritty brothels and crowded tenements of 19th-century Buenos Aires, tango emerged from loneliness, lust, and longing. Now, Luis Bravo's internationally acclaimed Forever Tango brings this intoxicating dance form to life with breathtaking authenticity and Broadway polish.

What Makes Forever Tango Extraordinary

Fourteen world-class dancers move with the intensity of lovers and the precision of artists, their bodies telling stories of passion, betrayal, and desire. Every gesture—from the flick of a leg to the arch of an eyebrow—speaks the language of the heart.

An eleven-piece live orchestra featuring the haunting bandoneon, tango's signature instrument, fills the theater with melodies that are both melancholic and electrifying. This isn't just accompaniment—it's the soul of Argentina made audible.

A celebrated vocalist channels the emotional depth of tango's greatest traditions, bringing voice to the stories these dances tell.

A Story Three Minutes at a Time

As creator Luis Bravo explains: "The tango is a feeling that you dance, a story you tell in three minutes. It's passionate, it's melancholic. It's tender, violent. You dance it with somebody—but it is so internal, you dance it by yourself."

Forever Tango doesn't just showcase dance—it reveals tango's dramatic origins among European immigrants who fled poverty only to find themselves in Buenos Aires' dangerous neighborhoods. From the violent world of knife-wielding compadrones to the sophisticated ballrooms of Paris, this is the complete journey of how an "indecent" street dance conquered the world.

Why This Matters

This is your chance to experience why tango captivated the world—and why it continues to move souls more than a century later.
