Cuarteto Latinoamericano is a string quartet from Mexico. Since their founding in 1981, the quartet has toured all over the world including Europe, The Americas, Israel, China, Japan, and New Zealand. They have won Two Latin Grammy Awards for Best Classical Album and Three “Most Adventurous Programming” Awards from “Chamber Music America”. This group has four members, Alvaro Bitran, Aron Bitran, Saul Bitran, and Javier Montiel. According to Strings Magazine, “Cuartetto plays with a precisely controlled spontaneity and a commitment to let the music speak. The immediate, detailed sound and handsome presentation are all that could be hoped for.”
