I took my grandchildren to see Peter Pan here. It was amazing. The prices were about what I paid to take them to see a movie but the experience was so much better. I have also attended a play with my son and it was wonderful. I recommend this instead of driving to Atlanta or Birmingham..

Saw Kris Kristofferson here and was blown away by the beauty and the acoustics of the building. The people were so helpful and there isn't a bad seat in the house. If you see concerts here the awesome thing is, they DO NOT charge a service fee, if the ticket says $20, $20 is what you pay. There is also an art gallery as well as a jail in the basement! Highly recommended.

The City of Oxford has done an amazing job of transforming the old city hall/jail complex into a first class entertainment venue. The lineup of performing arts is and has been fantastic. There is not a bad seat in the house. And you won't find more friendlier people to greet you and help in any way they can. Go on line to see the schedule and I promise, you won't be disappointed...

We were quite pleasantly surprised at what a nice facility this is! I've been in far less impressive venues in larger cities. Oxford is to be commended for such a lovely Arts Center that is well maintained and pleasant. We enjoyed a concert here! Thank you!

You might not expect a venue quite like OPAC in Oxford, AL. Not only do they bring in top quality performances for us to enjoy, but they do it in a first class facility. OPAC has an intimate atmosphere that makes every seat a great vantage point. We started with the very first performance at OPAC and now are season ticket holders. It's the best deal anywhere around!

We visited the Oxford Performing Arts Center this morning to purchase tickets to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. We were so impressed by how smoothly the ticketing operation ran. As we entered the center, we were given a numbered ticket which reflected our place in line. The friendly staff member invited the ticket buyers to enjoy the art gallery, help themselves to refreshments, and relax in the lobby until the Box Office opened. When It was time for the tickets to go on sale, a line formed. OPAC had 4 staff members selling tickets simultaneously, so the line moved quickly and efficiently. We were extremely impressed by the beauty of the facility and the professional manner in which the OPAC staff organized the ticket sale. Oxford should be very proud of this facility.

We recently attended a barbershop contest there this spring and found this place to be delightful. Staff was understanding and very accomodating. Seating was very comfortable and well lit. Parking was across the street and the local police offered protection and guidance in front of the center. It is truly beautifully restored and we look forward to returning to it soon.

What a wonderful jewel in the crown of the performing arts. A first-class facility to say the least. And, wonderful world-class artist and performances headline this great venue. The staff is magnificent too. Thanks for bringing a cultural gem to our area.
