Job Summary
The Artist Transportation Driver is responsible for providing safe, professional, and discreet ground transportation for artists, bands, crew members, and event personnel during their engagements with the Oxford Performing Arts Center (OPAC). This position includes driving to and from area airports, hotels, restaurants, retail locations, and other requested destinations, as well as running errands as directed by tour or production managers.
The role requires excellent driving skills, punctuality, situational awareness, and strong interpersonal conduct, as the driver often serves as the first point of contact between OPAC and its guest performers. Additional responsibilities include vehicle maintenance checks, route planning, coordination with hospitality and production teams, and ensuring a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and guest care.
