Operations Update

Vaccine Requirements
On May 24, 2021, the Governor signed into law Senate Bill 267 (now Act 2021-493) which prohibits governments, schools, or businesses in Alabama from requiring constituents, students, or customers, respectively, to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or to show proof of vaccination. OPAC is affected by this legislation and is compliant with state law.
Mask/Facial Coverings
As of August 23, 2021, wearing a mask within our venue is currently optional for guests and artists. We encourage guests to wear masks but currently do not mandate them. Complimentary masks are now made available at all events until further notice, while supplies last.
Venue Operations
OPAC utilizes state-of-the-art ionizing air sanitizing equipment which is designed to filter harmful particulates in certain HVAC equipment. We have also modified our pre and post-show cleaning regimens to ensure the highest standard of sanitization.
Refund Policy Update
We encourage all guests to take appropriate caution in preparing to attend an event. As is common in arts, entertainment, and sporting venues, we do not traditionally offer refunds or exchanges on any purchase. However, if you are concerned about the effects of COVID-19 on your health, have symptoms, or have been exposed to someone with symptoms, you may request a refund, exchange, or account credit.
Requests are accepted beginning 48 hours prior to the event start time and should be submitted at least 4 hours before the show begins*.
Example:
- Show Date/Time: December 10 - 7:00 pm
- Request window opens: December 8 - 7:00 pm
- Request window closes: December 10 - 3:00 pm
*Please note that we are unable to accommodate refund, exchange, or credit requests outside of these parameters.
